| Me and family went to
eat dinner at pink spice, when Stacey Lee was performing, it was
absolutely fantastic. The music was loud and most of the customers
were singing along and enjoying themselves. The food was very nice and
tasty. They had separate dishes for vegetarians, which was really
good. I would definatley
go back! |

| I am a regular customer
at Pink Spice, it
is under new management and it has the best service. All the food
arrive quickly, and the waiters are very professional and friendly.
The food is perfect at a reasonable price. There is a huge parking
space, so no problem in finding a parking space. It is very
busy so book before you go. I would definatley
recommend this restaurant. |

The
Pink Spice is a well
established restaurant originally known as The Pink Cottage
which later changed to Spice Masters then The Clove
and now under new management.
This restaurant offers easy
parking and a bright, air conditioned, modern furnished and decorated
premises, albeit not a lot of change from the past organization.
The staff were very welcoming, friendly,
helpful and knowledgeable when questioned in regard to items on
the menu which boasts the non use of colouring
or artificial additives.
Food arrived quickly, we were pleased with our choices and the
portions generous at reasonable prices, the staff were keen to know we
were happy and finished plates were removed quickly but at no point
did we feel rushed, we were in the company of sixteen other diners
throughout the premises who appeared to be as satisfied as us.
In conclusion we were not disappointed, considered the
restaurant good value for money providing very good food with very
good service, will recommend and return. |

| We were very pleasantly
surprised by our first takeaway from the Harlow Tandoori. There were
no mistakes with the order, which arrived within the time specified by
a very polite waiter/phone attendant. The meat was tender and not dry,
and all fat was removed from the duck. The sauces and rices were
absolutely delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. After
several disappointing meals from other local takeaways - which often
charge significantly more for chef's specials and king prawn dishes,
I've just ordered another feast from my new favourite. We also plan to
go for a meal next month based on our experience. |

| Booked
a table for 14 people, the table was ready when we arrived was not
rushed to order the food, waitress came to us to take our order due to
the party size(you usually go to the bar to order) food arrived
together fairly quickly no complaints, lovely food, hot and a buy one
get one free bargain, however, the bar prices were over the top, 4
drinks over £12 and 3 of those were soft drinks. (But with such cheap
food they must have to make there money somewhere!) Would go back. |

| I have ordered two take aways from
this restaurant. The food is of exceptional quality, and each dish
has its own aroma, no artificial colours, and using fresh vegetables.
The service was friendly, efficient and polite. Delicious flavours.
Each time we were given a bottle of good quality wine. I appreciate
this may be if an order over a certain value is placed, but it was a
good wine. I strongly recommend this restaurant and look forward to
eating there as well. Don't let the location put you off. There is
plenty of parking around the back. Enjoy. |

The William Aylmer ( J D Weatherspoons) |

Always
good for a reasonably priced meal with a much larger than average
range of drinks at prices significantly lower than any other local
restaurant. Their food is consistently good, and many friends have
commented that the Aylmer's food is better than their local
Wetherspoons. Steak, pork and fresh chicken are the best meats, and
the Curry and Steak nights are well worth trying. The Christmas
dinner was excellent for the price which included a choice of drink,
and with wine from about £5 a bottle and beers from less than £2 a
pint you can have a really good time for a small outlay. The turkey
was freshly carved, the vegetables were cooked properly and the meal
was substantial.
They do some excellent
deals all year - two steak meals and a bottle of wine for £15
etc. It is an excellent choice for a large party, even for a wedding
or birthday as they will lay out tables with cloths etc. and provide
waited service for any special occasion. We booked it for a birthday
with over 30 people and they were fantastic. We have seen wedding
receptions in there, as well. Must be a very reasonable option
financially per head!
The only drawback is the
other customers. Occasionally you can get a table of people who do
not know how to behave or restrict their bad language in public.
Most of the time it is warm, comfortable and pleasant to eat in.
Very good for an everyday meal out. And don't forget they do
breakfasts and superb coffee and muffin deals.

Did
an excellent Xmas meal and were notable for maintaining their normal
low cost (approx. £9.95) two or three course Monday to Thursday meal
through the festive period where a lot of similar places stop any
deals and concentrate on the Christmas market. This gave customers a
choice of an alternative reasonably priced meal if they did not want
a Christmas Dinner. The main menu and Special board provided further
choices.
We went there for my wife's
birthday and found the Xmas dinner and the 2/3 course meal deal
very good value and of a good quality. Drinks are not too expensive
and wine is sensibly priced. Service is very polite, staff are
smart and the overall atmosphere is of a better than average
pub/restaurant

| Went to the Heart and
Club for Sunday lunch as it has been taken over and were advertising 2
for £8. Have to say the quality of the food for the price was
absolutely unbelievable. I have had a lot of pub Sunday lunches and
this was definitely the best one I've had in a long time. The beef
and the pork were both lovely and the roast potatoes were real, not
fried like a lot of places these days. Will be recommending to
friends and family. Great value. they also do 2 for £8 on the rest
of the menu all week. |

The Navigator (Ware) |

Reviewed by Ken |
The Navigator in Ware is
one of the Smith & Jones chain, a slightly more up market
Wetherspoons. A nice, fairly quiet atmosphere with some background
music and comfortable seating. Beautiful location on the side of the
river with outside seating and dining for warmer weather. Parking is
free Sundays and evenings in the car park just over the road. Sunday
lunches are very good with fresh meat and vegetables. Now doing a
Carvery option with drink for £7.99. Also do the Curry and Grill
night meal and drink packages. Children are welcome (check with pub
for times) and there is a separate family section and a children's
menu.
I know how hard it is to
find a restaurant that will cater for a large party. They have
latched on to Wetherspoon's ability to cater for larger parties
than restaurants and are promoting their own "Party at the Pub"
idea to do the same Ideal for office parties, retirements etc as
they will lay on a buffet for guests instead of menu meals. Lots
of half price vouchers are always available from their websites.
They accept Tesco's Clubcard Vouchers, too!
